Pee!

She did it! Well, she's peed in the potty before. But tonight after dinner she said, "pee", and went into the bathroom, sat on her potty after a little coaxing, and then made a small pee in the potty. That's a definite step in the right direction. Coincidentally, after nap when given the choice between training underpants and a diaper she wanted to wear the diaper and then the training pants. So I guess the training pants worked.

Note to mom and dad (and other toddler parents) for the future. I think this kid was ready to potty train a while ago. She has been comfortable sitting on the potty for a while, clearly can control her pee (evidenced by the fact that she pees in the tub 3 seconds after getting in, every time), and started wanting to go without a diaper. I suppose it is worth mentioning that at school, about half of the kids in the toddler room are potty trained. So Liz sees them using the potty and not wearing diapers.
