Lizzie eagerly plays peekaboo these days. She initiates by pulling a towel, blanket, or anything else (stuffed toy, cup, spoon....) over her head, pauses for effect, then pulls the blanket (etc) down with great dramatic emphasis, searching for a response. Then she giggles! Oh, too cute. (And I'm unbiased, of course.) We've caught it on video and will post soon. In other news, solids continue to go well: she loves yogurt, many fruitsand veggies, and especially bananas, which she eats from a mesh "feeder bag" (thanks grandma -- good call!). She won't let anyone else put spoons in her mouth, but takes them when offered and knows exactly what to do. She even turns the spoon over to get all of the good stuff before relinquishing it (sometimes with an energetic wing to the floor). We've been to the pool a few more times, and Lizzie's definitely getting the hang of it. Crawling is imminent, I think. We'll keep you posted on all of that and more. In the meantime, off to bed. 10pm is officially late night around here.
