We just got back from the vet, I mean pediatrician. Lizzy weighs just under 6 kilos, 13 lb and 1 oz. She is 23.5 inches tall. So, she is still a big girl -- 95th percentile for weght and 90th for height. Good job! Dr. Wong gave Lizzy a clean bill of health -- everything looks and sounds great, so there isn't much to talk about there.

You're probably reading to find out about the vaccinations. It was very sad, but not nearly as bad as we thought it was going to be. After Dr. Wong left, a nurse came in and gave us a quick description of the vaccinations. The first was oral...no problems there. The next was the first of three shots in her thigh. After the shot, her face progressed from pink to beet red over a few seconds, and then she let out a piercing scream. She looked like a cartoon character. After that, the other shots went in, and there were a few more minutes of crying. She's been pretty quiet since, napping in her carseat while Mom and Dad had lunch.
