Just to follow up and add a few things.
Seems the separation anxiety has passed. Kristen reports no crying when we leave for the past few days. Also, the new tooth is through and most of the pain has passed. Phew...until the next one.
Lizzie has started to put things together, rather than simply try and destroy everything. She has put a few Duplo together, and has attempted to make a tower with [2] blocks. Tonight she even replaced the stacker rings on the base before going to bed. Even better, she walked around and fetched the rings herself -- of course she had scattered them throughout the hours earlier in the day. We didn't tell her she put them on in the wrong order...
We had a little role reversal of sorts when a game of peekaboo turned into Lizzie me! It was fun.
